     Martha Ballard was baptized on 30 March 1706 at Isle of Wight, Hampshire, , England.^1,2 She was the daughter of John Ballard.¹

     Moyse Ballard was baptized on 5 November 1706 at London, , England.^1,2 He was the son of George Ballard.¹ Moyse Ballard died in 1717.¹

     Philip Ballard was baptized on 8 January 1707 at Suckley, Worcestershire, , England.¹ He was the son of John Ballard.¹

     John Ballard was christened in 1708. He was the son of William Ballard and Mary Singlehurst. John Ballard married Mary Hall in 1731. John Ballard died in 1775.

     Mary Ballard was baptized on 19 January 1708 at Bratton, Wiltshire, , England.¹ She was the daughter of Philip Ballard and Sarah Aldridge.¹ As of circa 1730,her married name was Whitaker. Mary Ballard married Philip Whitaker circa 1730.

     John Ballard was baptized on 17 March 1708 at Suckley, Worcestershire, , England.¹ He was the son of John Ballard.¹ John Ballard held property at The Lower Court, Suckley, Worcestershire, , England, between 1742 and 1753 as evidenced by Heigham wrote in 1705 to his cousin Thomas Coke at the Exchequer Office asking him to use his interest to prevent his being made Sheriff of Worcestershire. (fn. 63) He died in 1719, (fn. 64) when his son D'Ewes succeeded. (fn. 65) D'Ewes was in possession of the manor called Le Lower Court and Le White House in 1721, (fn. 66) and sold the former in 1742 to John Ballard and the latter in the same year to John Freeman. (fn. 67) The White House belonged to the Freemans until 1795 or later. (fn. 68) It was purchased about 1856 by Mr. Twinberrow, grandfather of Mr. James Frederick Twinberrow, who is the present owner. (fn. 69) The Lower Court estate passed on the death of John Ballard in 1753 to his son John, who sold it in 1813 to Joseph Walker. Of him it was purchased in 1831 by John Dowding

Elizabeth was described as "now residing in Sutton Valence" and the putative father of Francis was givenas Francis Godfrey, son of her Master John Godfrey, yeoman of Tenterden. on 30 December 1730.¹ She died before 1 September 1789; Stated as deceased in the will of her brother, Thomas Ballard.²
