This is the last will and testament of me Thomas Ballard of Dartford in the county of Kent gardener I direct the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses and subject thereto I give and bequeath all the monies and securities for money and debts and household goods and furniture chattels effects and all other the personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever of which I may be possessed or entitled to at the time of my decease unto my dear wife Anne Ballard her executors administrators and assigns absolutely and I appoint her sole executor of this my will in witness whereof I the said Thomas Ballard the testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the 30th day of March in the year of our Lord 1836 – Thomas Ballard signed sealed published and declared by the said Thomas Ballard the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his present at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses – John Hayward Solicitor Dartford – John Randolph <Rox> Dartford.

 

Proved at London the 22nd September 1838 before the worshipful John that boundary Doctor of laws and surrogate by the oath of an in the will and written Ann Ballard widow the relict the sole executrix to whom administration was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
