This is the last will and testament of me Sarah Ballard of Lamberhurst in the county of Sussex spinster made this tenth day of June 1835 first I appoint my brother George Ballard and my nephew John Boorman the younger joint executors of this my will and I direct them to convert all my property into money and to pay all my just debts as early as may be after my decease and after the payment of my debts and my funeral and testamentary expenses I give and dispose of the <???????> residue of my property as follows that is to say one equal third part thereof to my said brother George Ballard and one of other equal third part thereof to my brother Isaac Ballard and as to the remaining third part I direct my executors to invest the same in their joint names in the public funds of this kingdom or on real security at interest and to pay the dividends or interest thereof from time to time as the same shall become due and be received by my said executors unto my sister Rachel the mother of the said John Boorman for her use <?????> her natural life and subject to her life interest therein I give and bequeath the third part or principle money so directed to be invested as aforesaid unto my said nephew John Boorman to and for his own use and benefit. In witness whereof I the said Sarah Ballard have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written. Sarah Ballard signed sealed and published by the said testatrix in the presence of us Doctor Webb Irving Surgeon Lamberhurst  - Thomas Lansdell Farmer Lamberhurst.

 

Proved at London 23rd of October 1835 before the worshipful John Danbury Doctor of Law and surrogate by the oaths of George Ballard the brother and John Boorman the younger the nephew the executors to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.
